When I was six I started writing short stories. Twenty four years later I've diversified into books, journalism, a play and a whole bunch of pop culture crit. A lot of it, I've got paid, a lot more of it, I haven't. I'm working on changing that.

So, I find myself 2.5 years into the 'glamorous' world of the freelance writer and actually, it's...pretty much working out. Which is a shocker. I've got regular work from multiple sources with more to come and it's not perfect yet but damn if it isn't close.

So join me! gentle reader, on an occasional journey through the mind of a man who works alone (But not in that cool secret agent way). To paraphrase Derek Zoolander (A lot), I write good and now I get to find out just how good.
